BASIC FUNCTION
Produce bulk with the use of a multiple phase batch making process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the production of batches using the Batch Master Record System.
Help record production data, including raw materials used, quantities, and timing.
Check raw materials before production to ensure they match the batch sheet requirements.
Follow production procedures carefully for accurate measurements and mixing.
Operate manufacturing equipment to mix and blend chemicals according to provided formulas.
Clean and sanitize equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the manufacturing area according to SOPs.
Follow safety precautions and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Possess knowledge of proper use of weight scales
Individuals must be able to operate manufacturing equipment such as but not limited to: mixers, blenders and industrial equipment such as drum movement equipment and forklifts. Forklift certification required.
Must be familiar with Batch Coding System of Manufacturing
Knowledge of use of radio frequency devices (RF scanners).
Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative
Scientific Math Aptitude/Strong Analytical Skills
Detail oriented with impeccable organizational skills.
Has basic working knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
Ability to work independently, self motivated
Ability to read, understand and follow given recommendation of SDS sheets (Safety Data Sheets).

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
High school or equivalent GED
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year compounding in cosmetics/personal care industry.
This position is classified non-exempt.
