Kdc/one is currently hiring at our Groveport, Ohio location. As part of the kdc/one network, we are the leading best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products! Our Groveport, OH site is growing and we are looking for an experienced Director of Supply Chain who will be responsible for directing all Supply Chain functions including the development, implementation and execution of procurement management, demand management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning, supplier planning, master scheduling, inventory management, and logistics so the company can meet financial and customer goals.
This position is responsible for:
Leads and manages the supply chain team at the assigned site to ensure capacity and capability meet the growth objectives of the business; key measures include customer service, inventory turns, warehouse capacity, order completion, and material loss.
Maintains and expands Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. warehouse capacity, staffing/shift, Post Goods Issued (PGI), Trailers in Pad) to sustain warehouse performance and guarantee order fulfillment by shift.
Leads warehouse capacity analysis on a regular basis to maintain healthy pallet position structure.
Develops and implements supply chain strategies and tactics (e.g. IRA process, Physical Inventory Process, Book to Book reconciliation with customers, inventory control management, training) that leverage the supply chain and corporate teams, and result in savings to the business and customers.
Analyzes current systems, policies, procedures, and practices for potential improvements in cost, lead times, inventory levels, and delivery schedules; analyzes and interprets results to identify potential issues and develop action plans for resolution.
Develops and implements purchasing processes to ensure raw materials/components are delivered and available in full and on-time (OTIF) and sourcing strategies to support corporate objectives and operational activity, providing the company a competitive advantage in cost, delivery, and quality.
Improves functionality of the ERP systems (e.g. material management, inventory management, warehouse management) to maximize effectiveness, usability, utilization, and data integrity.
Develops and implements a “one-system” approach for improving communication, system visibility and service to our customers.
Trains, coaches, and develops employees within the department to ensure performance expectations and department objectives are met according to established standards; manages performance expectations and delivers feedback.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in operations, Management, or Engineering is required.
Minimum of 10 years previous experience in a Supply Chain management role; experience working in a regulated industry with consumer products is strongly preferred.
Previous experience with SAP platform and working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
