General Information:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer plans, leads, directs, and facilitates activities to drive improvements toward Operational Excellence targets across the site so the company can meet operational and financial goals.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent; preferably Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production environment (preferably FDA regulated) with both high speed and agile filling and packaging systems.
Trained and experienced in Lean tools, Six Sigma methodologies, and a track record of hands-on implementation.

This position is responsible for:
Monitors and designs specific training related to TPM development standards across the operations; leads kaizen activities, enables teams to have proper tools/structure to drive improvements and tracks action plans and results.
Partners with all functions on work process improvements, standardized work and other tools and methods to optimize production performance and drive continuous improvement plans.
Leads site loss analysis program defining net cost savings by close collaboration with business leaders; Identify top losses and support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting issues and process improvement.
Leads KPI implementation and factory performance information; develops and implements processes and systems to measure line performance and prioritize improvement areas.
Tracks improvement projects, net cost savings, and s progress.
Executes process audits and performs line balancing studies.
Trains and coaches employees on key improvement tools including Lean tools and problem solving techniques, Kaizen, key SOPs and other team-oriented organizational improvement methods.
