Packing Specialist

Our Site based in Garland (Texas), is currently looking for a:   Packing Specialist   Packing Specialist requires level 4 knowledge of all equipment in your responsible cell. Responsibilities include but not limited to operating equipment/cell according to the Zobele Base Condition Program in a safe environment:​These include Filler, Capper, Dosing/Flip Caps, BBF Unscrambler and Palletizer in P3. The Specialist is responsible for performing all jobs in the Cell at a Level 4, which is without assistance for hourly rotation. Other responsibilities will include but, are not limited to adhering to Plant/ Department Safe practices, complying to defined procedures, performing defined Quality documentation, and completing required Production documentation. The Packing Line Filler Machine Operator will be expected to maintain a safe and clean work environment, contribute to the delivery of production results, and support other production areas as directed by the Supervisor, Cell Lead or Production Specialist   Pay rate: $17.50 ( $1.50-night differential)   Schedule: Rotating Schedule must be available weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday Day Shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM  Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM   Responsibilities: Is an active member of shift team, flows to work areas; Assist other Team Members Maintains acceptable Attendance per outlined within HR guidelines Operates within Plant Code of Conduct Follows Plant Handbook policies and procedures Attends Shift team Meetings Provides to other team's quality shift pass down information   Requirements:  Maintains safe work area, operating with required Safe Behaviors Wears required PPE Demonstrates and understands safe entry procedures while operating Demonstrates proper ergonomics procedures i.e. bending and lifting techniques  while operating Follows required work instructions and Job aids Completes assigned tasks following outlined Best Practices   Completes required Production QA Documents , Production Records Complies with outlined  Plant GMPs Complies to defined good documentation practices when completing required in process production documents Ensures that materials being loaded and used on the line meet acceptable Target Quality standards Properly performs any rework that occurs during production and properly introduces back into the process Join US!
