Description / Scope / Mission
Recruiting hourly, non-exempt, and salaried exempt personnel. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications. Assist the Human Resources Director with administrative duties as requested.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
Source and recruit all candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
Screen candidates resume and job applications.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
Complete reference and background checks on candidates.
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the team.
Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process.
Promote the company’s reputation as an “Employer of Choice.”
Assist in the job posting and advertising process in order to attract qualified candidates.
Facilitate the offer process by extending an offer once approved by HR Director.
Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process for hourly personnel.
Schedule pre-employment testing after a contingent offer of employment has been made.
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
Work with temporary agencies in obtaining hourly employees based on production needs, as a supplement.
Track temporary employment hours for hiring as Northern Labs employees after they reach 480 hours.
Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding process.
Attend job fairs as needed.
Track paperwork for new hires.
Posting jobs on TV monitors and bulletin boards.
Work with training processes and documents as needed.
Back up the receptionist as needed.

Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience
Associate Degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience.
At least one year experience recruiting hourly, non-exempt personnel
Experience with automated time clock system.
Computer knowledge – Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook and Teams, Skpe
Human Resources background desired.

Desk calculator, copy machine, fax machine and printer up to 1/3 of the time.
Computer 2/3 and more of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PPE REQUIRED:
Moderate noise.
Work will be conducted in an office as well as a factory setting.
Safety glasses, hair net, sturdy work shoes when in factory areas.
