What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scientist - RD-Aerofil Technical position at kdc/one?
Essential Functions:
· Develop liquid and aerosol products that meet customer requirements and comply with all applicable regulations.
· Help scale-up from laboratory samples to production runs.
· Troubleshoot issues that may occur throughout all stages of manufacturing.
· Routine and project specific data entry and interpretation.
· Follow or create formulas and blend instructions.
· Understand formula calculations.
· Communicate with suppliers, vendors, sales/CSR, and customers on an on-going basis.
· Assist with purchasing of lab supplies and controlling expenses.
· Understand and follow Good Laboratory Practices.
· Prepare lab reports for customers.
· Regular attendance per handbook policy.
· Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Education:
Bachelors’ Degree in a scientific discipline.
Additional Qualifications:
· The ability to understand shop orders and other reports as applicable.
· The ability to perform visual observations of samples and test results.
· Excellent communication skills, good organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
· Computer literate and the ability to train on programs required for the job (OJT or professionally).
