Senior Sourcing Specialist

Our Site based in Garland (Texas), is currently looking for Senior Sourcing Specialist Within the scope assigned by the Supply Chain Manager of the site, our Sourcing Specialist implements the sourcing strategy of the division into the plant, ensuring the development and management of the appropriate supplier base, to guarantee that the business expectations are met in terms of Total Costs of Ownership, Service and Quality.   Responsibilities: Select new suppliers of materials and services, develop the supplier base localization process and support the home care division functions in scouting new suppliers and products within the market of competence. Negotiate contractual terms and manage the relationships with the suppliers to meet current and future business expectations. Ensure that the plant needs are fully met in terms of price, service level and quality (lowest TCO). Monitor the suppliers’ performance with adequate metrics, fostering a continuous improvement process. Support the resolution of recurrent service quality issues within the assigned supplier base. Assist the Supply Chain Manager in the definition of the plant’s yearly saving plan and put in place the Cost Improvement Initiatives assigned. Maintain short- and long-term plans for the assigned categories of purchasing.   Experience: 5 year of working experience in big and well-structured company, better if in FMCG’s environment, or in purchasing roles.   Education: University Degree in Economics, Engineering Management or related filed   Specific Knowledge: KPI reporting Lean Manufacturing principles Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications Knowledge of an ERP system Good Knowledge of SAP is a plus.   Others: Excellent negotiation, communication, and social skills Proved collaboration with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem solving International experience and multicultural approach would be appreciated. Languages: Proficiency in English, second language is a plus Self-motivated and self-oriented Team-working attitude Willing to work in a global team.   Join US!
