Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated In-Home Behavior Technician to join our team full-time. This role involves working directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities in their homes to implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in the clients home setting
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
Assist in the development and modification of treatment goals
Collaborate with the supervisory team and caregivers to ensure client success
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of care
Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
Knowledge of behavior management techniques
Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with families and caregivers in a home-based environment
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Livonia, MI area
Background in social work, special education, behavioral health, or patient care is a plus
Ability to work saturdays
Requirements:
Drivers License (Required)
Ability to commute to and work in client homes in Livonia, MI
