KDRV-TV has an immediate opening for an Anchor/Reporter/Producer

Allen Media Broadcasting’s KDRV-TV in Medford, Oregon is looking for an outstanding journalist to join the leading news team in Southern Oregon & Northern California as an Anchor/Reporter. You’ll produce and anchor weekend newscasts. The rest of your week, you’ll shoot, write, edit and present stories for our broadcast and digital platforms from the studio and live in the field. A reel that demonstrates your skills in these areas is important. A college degree in journalism or a related field is required.

KDRV is the market leader in Southern Oregon and has been #1 in local news for more than 25 years. We produce 36 hours of local television news per week and coverage on digital and social throughout the day.

Our station is located in the beautiful Rogue Valley near the Southern Oregon Wine Trail and is just a short drive away from great hiking, mountain biking, skiing, golfing, fishing, whitewater rafting, the Britt Festival’s concerts under the stars, and the Tony award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival. If you still need an occasional big city fix, then Portland and San Francisco are just a quick direct flight or a few hours’ drive away.

Some additional requirements

  • A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
  • Good driving record. Must possess or be able to obtain an Oregon driver’s license. 
  • Must be able to use, transport, and lift equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds.
