Job Title: Office Manager
Reports To: President
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Direct Reports: Accounts Receivable Processor, Accounts Payable Processor, Receptionist/Secretary
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee administrative, accounting, human resources, and general office operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily functions, financial accuracy, and strong team coordination. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with excellent financial acumen, administrative expertise, and a hands-on management style.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources & Administration:
- Oversee HR functions, including employment policies, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Work closely with the President to assess and implement benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations and best practices.
- Supervise and support administrative staff to maintain office efficiency.
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Manage budgeting, cost accounting, collections, and financial analysis.
- Oversee monthly financial closings and income-related account analysis.
- Perform cash reconciliations and balance sheet account controls.
- Assist with internal audits and corporate tax reporting to meet federal and state regulations.
General Office & IT Oversight:
- Ensure office systems and technology run smoothly to support daily operations.
- Coordinate with IT providers for troubleshooting and system improvements.
- Assist staff with basic technology needs and software updates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 3-4 years of experience.
- Considered: Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 4-5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience managing HR policies, employee relations, and benefits programs.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
