Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Project Estimator with expertise in both residential and commercial landscaping projects. This role involves preparing detailed bids for commercial landscaping, hardscaping, and swimming pools, as well as creating high-quality 3D designs for residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong general construction knowledge and the ability to balance the unique needs of both sectors.
Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications and plans for residential and commercial landscaping and hardscaping projects.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for a variety of projects, including swimming pools, patios, and large-scale commercial designs.
Collaborate with the design team to produce detailed 3D renderings for residential clients, showcasing innovative and visually appealing solutions.
Source and price materials, labor, and equipment required for project execution.
Identify risks and contingencies, ensuring all estimates and bids are comprehensive and competitive.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve optimal pricing and project outcomes.
Present bids and designs to clients, addressing questions and providing expert guidance throughout the process.
Stay current on industry trends, design technologies, and construction best practices for residential and commercial projects.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Project Estimator in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction.
Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar).
Strong knowledge of general construction principles, materials, and methods.
Demonstrated ability to balance the demands of residential and commercial projects.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in both estimates and designs.
Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
