Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with all financial procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for catering events or special functions as needed.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, new products, and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a related role is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for brewing craft beverages or cocktails is highly desirable.
