Job Summary

As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system or OpenTable.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Uphold food handling safety standards to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a server role within a fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Resy and Toast is a plus.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food or drinks.
