Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, sewer, and sanitary.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, backhoes, and loaders to assist in installation tasks.
- Perform concrete finishing and forming as required for pipeline installations.
- Utilize pipe lasers to ensure accurate alignment and depth of pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading to guide installation processes.
- Familiarity with heavy machinery operation including dozers, backhoes, and loaders.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and concrete forming practices.
- Ability to weld pipes when necessary for project completion.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
