About Kealakehe Elementary School:

Kealakehe Elementary School is a PK-5th grade school located in the vibrant community of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. With over 900 students and 50 dedicated teachers, we are committed to providing an exceptional learning environment that empowers students to become lifelong learners.

Our Approach to Education: At Kealakehe Elementary School, we utilize the Success for All (SFA) schoolwide school improvement model. This includes a focused 90-minute reading block and solution-focused, staff-led teams that continuously elevate our campus. What we’re looking for:

We are currently trying to fill vacancies in General Education positions in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We also have several Special Education vacancies in various grade levels.

* You will be expected to be on-island by mid-July (first teacher work day is July 28th). First paycheck will be sent 6-weeks after the first working day. Relocation bonus will be awarded after arrival.
