Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and treatment. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care in a welcoming and safe environment.
This position is for 1-2 days per week @7hr shift with lunch. We will offer a daily base pay in addition to a production percentage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information and scheduling appointments.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CAD systems for dental design is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort throughout their visits.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per day
Expected hours: 7 – 14 per week
