About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Healthcare Informatics to join our team at Kearney County Health Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, maintenance, and project management of our electronic medical record system.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical informatics, with experience in EMR implementation, maintenance, and project management. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative leadership and committees with clear and concise reports regarding progress on implementation of new updates or programs.
- Leading the EHR Steering Team to ensure participation and decision-making involves all key stakeholders utilizing the EHR software.
- Evaluating current information systems and taking proactive steps to ensure clinical documentation in electronic systems follows industry best practices.
A Bachelor's Degree is required, and a Certification or Master's Degree in Clinical Informatics is preferred.
