Description:
Provide summer learning experience for pre-professional students in their last summer prior to graduation or post graduate education.
- Demonstrate understanding and competency in technical skills and procedures
- Apply sound judgement through the nursing process in the management of patient care
- Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families
Foster collaborative relationships with coworkers, physicians, and ancillary department members
- Demonstrate the ability to function as a team member in the healthcare community
- Develop a framework of integrated care of the patient as part of the health care continuum
