Financial Services Associate (Account Administrator)
Job Summary
We seek an early career financial planner to join one of our top advisor teams to contribute to a top-notch financial planning experience for our clients. In this role, you will be indispensable in preparing financial plans. You can interact with clients in the data gathering process, financial plan presentations in client meetings, and casework completion after client meetings. Where you shine the most is in your thorough grasp of financial planning concepts and software and your meticulous crafting of financial plans and client-facing documents.
This position is at our Manhattan, KS branch, is non-exempt, and reports to the Account Administration Manager.
Responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
- Participate in casework completion for clients, meeting deadlines, and keeping the team informed of progress.
- Assist with drafting follow up notes and saving documentation in the CRM from client meetings
- Call annuity companies for updated information on client contracts
- Request life insurance illustrations before client meetings as needed
- Gather client financial data and input into planning software
- Meet with clients to verify financial information is accurate and accounts are successfully linked
- Run stress tests and create corresponding documents
- Create meeting prep documents such as client review agendas
- Refine financial planning processes, bringing solutions and efficiency ideas
- Generate tax planning reports
- Attend financial planning related client meetings alongside advisors, assisting to present and update the plan throughout the conversation with clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year of financial planning experience required.
- Licenses and certifications are not required but can be explored as part of growth in the role over time.
- Knowledge of financial planning software is expected.
- Proficient in Office 365 apps and adaptable to new technology.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, driven to double check accuracy of data and communication before it gets distributed or presented.
- Excellent communication skills: written, interpersonal, and virtual.
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
- Organizational & time management skills.
- Comfortable building rapport with clients and adapting your communication approach to their preferred style.
- Able to collaborate within a US-wide company with virtual communication and multiple time zones.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take initiative to find resources needed to accomplish goals.

Salary : $47,000 - $50,000
