What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRODUCTION: Electronic Assembly position at KEB?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Assembler to join our production team. The days and hours of Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. Overtime occurs as necessary. The pay starts at $18 /hour.
The Electronics Assembler is responsible for performing various assembly tasks:
Read and follow work instructions, production orders, and blueprints
Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies and final assemblies
Pick hardware items
Package some parts and cycle counting
Assist other departments as necessary
Perform various types of testing and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills (standard and metric)
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Ability to follow work instructions accurately
Ability to do accurate work at a rapid pace
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
Ability to work well independently as well as with others
Have attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Ability to proficiently read and write in English
Ability to follow all safety rules
Ability to work independently without guidance
Basic understanding of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Basic understanding of product functions
Ability to operate pallet jack
Ability to solder
Ability to set up and produce basic assembly process
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
