Keches Law Group, P.C. is a well-established, growing, 50 attorney law firm with offices in Milton, Bridgewater, and Worcester, practicing in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and discrimination.
We are seeking a full time Social Security Application Coordinator to join our team in our SSDI department.
This is a remote position.
Qualified candidates will have prior experience filing SSDI applications.
Duties :
- Initiating follow-up calls to prospective clients
- Processing paperwork with clients to assist them in completing social security applications and documentation
- Tracking progress on applications and following up with clients
- Setting the tone and pace for all calls, while maintaining a professional attitude and showing empathy and patience when speaking with potential clients
- Demonstrating the ability to converse with varying client personalities to collect pertinent details to determine the viability of their claims
- Acting as the liaison between the attorney and the client and the Social Security Administration and the client
- Representing attorney(s) by communicating and obtaining information, following up on delegated assignments, and knowing when to act and when to refer matters to the attorney(s)
- Maintaining client confidence by keeping client / attorney information confidential
- Enhancing the reputation of the department and the organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the position
- Requesting the ability to accurately translate verbal information into written correspondence
- Filing documents and updating client files

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
