Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
• Handle cash and credit card payments while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in upselling products and enhancing sales opportunities.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and basic retail math skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
• Previous experience in cash handling is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who can communicate effectively with both customers and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $7.50 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
