JOB TITLE: Commercial Property Management Bookkeeper
STATUS: Full time

REPORTS TO: Senior Property Manager
WORKING HOURS
This is a non-exempt position. Operating hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm.
SUMMARY
The Bookkeeper will manage all accounting process for the Keegan and Coppin Property Management team. They will handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, produce journal entries, reconcile business accounts, and enter data into Yardi to make sure financial reporting is accurate and organized. The Bookkeeper will also stay abreast of the day-to-day operations of handling incoming and going payments, collect bills, prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and other tasks as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable and updating records as required.
- Review and pay all Property management invoices.
- Update management on any financial discrepancies found.
- Prepare and send tenant statements.
- Prepare all bank reconciliations.
- Review and provide financial reports to PMs.
- Administer 1099 reporting.
- Complete year end journal entries
- Create and manage daily paperwork for mailing as well as invoicing.
- Adheres to all Keegan and Coppin policies and procedures.
- Attends all required meeting and trainings.
- Assist with preparation of CAM Reconciliations.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 year’s experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Administrator, Accounting, or similar role
- Experience in Yardi Voyager mandatory.
- Exceptional data entry skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree Finance, Accounting, or relevant field a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
