Description

Manages the creation and administration of all learning and development programs, facilitates

change management efforts, and continuously evaluates existing training and development initiatives to ensure

alignment with organizational goals. This role supports nine manufacturing sites (onsite) and the supporting

teams, providing a top-tier learning and development experience that fosters team member growth and training

opportunities. The goal is to build a strong internal pipeline of future leaders for succession planning at all

organizational levels. The position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Ladson, SC.

  • Creates and implements company-wide programs to enhance and develop human capital, addressing currenT role and departmental needs, career pathing and planning, and fostering a robust learning culture that exceeds organizational goals and objectives.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of workforce learning and development, including the
  • Price of Entry/Leadership Attributes and the Keel Development Resource Hub.
  • Leads the development and implementation of performance measurement tools to assess the success of
  • programs, track training retention, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluates and optimizes development programs at all levels, focusing on team development, career pathing and organizational change/communication to ensure alignment with company and employee learning and development goals.
  • Designs, conducts, and monitors annual companywide training compliance programs for all team members, ensuring targets are met.
  • Develops and oversees a program for periodic workforce training that supports change management initiatives crucial to the company’s growth.
  • Continuously reviews, sources, and designs innovative training methods to improve the performance of both the workforce and leadership.
  • Conducts follow-up evaluations of completed training programs to measure effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Adapts and implements diverse training methods, including e-learning (LMS), classroom sessions, mentoring, coaching, virtual training, IDPs, and talent assessment tools, to meet the workforce’s needs.
  • Supports corporate communications through standard delivery methods such as monthly/quarterly newsletters, updates on key policies and procedures, digital wall boards, and internal company announcements.
  • Leads talent assessment reviews as part of scheduled succession planning, ensuring focus on high-potential employees and continuous career development, enhancing company results through engaged, skilled teams.
  • Develops and implements a recognition program that celebrates core values such as teamwork, positive energy, exceptional performance, and career achievements, ensuring high levels of team member engagement
  • and recognition as an employer of choice.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned by the Chief People Officer.
  • All other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience designing and implementing team member learning & development programs. 5 years of experience in supporting a workforce in a manufacturing environment with top notch internal and external client customer service skills.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • 5 years Microsoft software application intermediate to advanced experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally & be adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms & methods.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standings.
  • Must have excellent presentation and facilitation skills to variety of levels of audiences and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be an excellent multi-tasker and time-management guru in managing multiple projects/items given at high level.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from a credited college or university;

and/or 10 years related experience in learning & development of a workforce; or equivalent combination of

education and experience. 5 plus years or more experience in a manufacturing work environment is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred. Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) credential

preferred.

As needed between Keel facilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, occasionally

stoop, kneel and/or climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The

associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently. Specific vision abilities required by this

job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
