The Regional IT Manager is a leadership role responsible for the overall management, optimization, and security of the organization's Microsoft 365 environment and overall planning, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's network and infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD. The IT Manager will collaborate with other departments to ensure the Microsoft 365 platform effectively supports business operations and enhances productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, server infrastructure, cybersecurity best practices, and IT project management. The IT Manager will ensure the IT infrastructure effectively supports business operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other network devices. Ensure network performance, stability, and security.
Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.), storage systems, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. - as applicable).
Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's Microsoft 365 tenant. Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security settings.
Exchange Online Management: Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution lists, and other messaging components. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the email system.
SharePoint Online Administration: Manage SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and permissions. Develop and implement SharePoint governance policies. Provide support to end-users on SharePoint usage.
Teams Management: Manage Microsoft Teams, including team creation, channel management, and integration with other applications. Develop and implement Teams usage policies.
OneDrive Management: Manage OneDrive for Business storage and synchronization. Implement data governance policies for OneDrive.
Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects related to network and infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and implementations. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors for hardware, software, and support services. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget for network and infrastructure related expenses. Forecast future needs and prioritize investments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network and infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
24/7 Support: Oversee the provision of 24/7 support for critical network and infrastructure systems. Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve the network, infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 environment including performance optimization, cost reduction, and security enhancements. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Relevant work experience will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years work experience is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure is frequent to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles - eye protection is required, and fumes, machine vibration, and noisy conditions, high temperatures, and occasional to a restricted space work area. All Keel locations are tobacco free where appropriate.
