We are looking to hire a Business Operations Analyst for our St. Louis, MO, office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze operational data to provide actionable insights that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex business problems.
- Perform cost analysis on projects to identify potential issues and provide data insights to the project team.
- Track cash flow within the Paving Group from billing to collection.
- Evaluate projections based on earned value management.
- Develop and maintain Paving Group Overhead budgets.
- Monitoring project costs throughout its lifecycle, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to control expenses.
- Analyze productivity reports and provide feedback to the project team.
- Manage processes and workflow between operations and functional support units for streamlined communication.
- Review owner contracts for risk analysis, provide feedback, and track comments and deliverables.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate project status, cost forecasts, and performance metrics to project teams and leadership.
- Communicate effectively with external/internal stakeholders to deliver business requirements. Coordinate with respective areas to resolve issues and develop processes to accomplish shared goals.
- Effectively manage change in a fast-paced demanding environment while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Collaborate with team members within and outside the Paving Group to understand and improve business operations and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, accounting, or relevant field from a 4-year accredited university, plus a minimum of five years of experience supporting similar primary responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Project Management applications a plus.
- Experience with Construction ERP a plus.
- Experience with Power BI a plus.
