We are offering an exciting career opportunity for a Claims Administrative Assistant! The successful applicant will perform administrative functions to assist the Vice President of Risk and Claims Department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and processing of construction-related claims.
- Enter, update, and track claims data in the claims management system.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and insurance companies to gather necessary information for claims resolution.
- Monitor the status of claims and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely processing.
- Review and assist in the preparation of claim contracts and related documents.
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to address any contractual issues or disputes.
- Ensure all claims processes adhere to relevant licensing and business regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory bodies as required.
- Conduct regular audits of claims processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to the Claims Department, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling phone calls.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding claims inquiries.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to claims or contracts.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Legal background preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role within the construction industry, with a focus on claims management and contract administration.
- Knowledge of licensing and business regulations in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
