The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy machinery on construction sites and ensuring tasks are completed according to project specifications. Key responsibilities include:
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Average OT: 5-10 hours/week

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy machinery on construction sites and ensuring tasks are completed according to project specifications. Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operating machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes
- Performing excavation, grading, material handling, and lifting tasks as required by the project
- Interpreting blueprints and work orders to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues to prevent project delays
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and address any issues
- Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate tasks and meet project milestones
- Passing a Disa test and holding a valid TWIC card to work on certain job sites
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
