Job Summary
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day and month-end accounting tasks, including general accounts receivable and payable duties, along with a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks according to established policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Essential Functions
- Maintains the creation and posting of customer invoices across global markets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for seamless transactions.
- Monitors the electronic returns process, handling exception reporting and generating credit memos with precision to ensure smooth customer interactions.
- Support the Accounts Payable team with posting invoices and reviewing transactions, ensuring accurate accounting and timely payment processing.
- Assist in filing monthly sales tax returns across multiple jurisdictions, helping maintain compliance and keep financial operations running smoothly.
- Reconciles and maintains Accounts Receivable accounts, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient month-end closing process, helping deliver accurate financial reports on time.
- Provides essential support during financial and regulatory audits, ensuring that all necessary documents and processes are in place for a seamless review.
- Supports Finance team, including FP&A and Credit teams, in ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of applicable accounting experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with MS Windows software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- SAP and enterprise database experience preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Travel Required: No travel will be required
Base Salary: $23.95 - $25.00/hour
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
