Job Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst supports the US Wholesale Sales Operations & Planning team by collaborating with Sales, Sales Planning, Finance, and Supply to optimize sales operations and planning processes. Reporting to the Sales Operations & Planning Director, this role works closely with sales leaders to ensure accurate and equitable delivery of sales compensation targets, provide analytical insights on compensation model effectiveness, and develop tools and reporting to manage business health. Key responsibilities include supporting the closeout liquidation process, handling complex data analysis to address variable factors, and driving continuous improvement in sales operations. This role directly impacts KEEN's sales strategies and supports leadership across all business categories through innovative solutions and strategic projects.


Essential Functions
  • Partners with sales leadership to set objective seasonal and annual sales targets by representative that align to business and account sales targets and objectives.
  • Analyzes existing compensation policies and process, identifies improvement opportunities, and ensures equitable compensation practices across the sales organization.
  • Partners internally to manage sales representative and account data, reporting, and ensure accurate and timely monthly commissions for Outside and Utility divisions.
  • Collaborates internally to upload weekly sell-through data from SPS or other additional sources and manages sell-through reports as needed.
  • Manages SPS reports, trains and supports the Sales team, and leads ad-hoc analyses for sell-through reviews to inform sell-in and strategy development.
  • Develops and leverages comprehensive sell-in and sell-through tools and analyses to monitor sales-to-stock ratios, optimize chase models, guide purchasing decisions, and shape strategies for future seasons and years.
  • Conducts detailed weekly ad-hoc analysis aligned with business targets, creating executive summaries and presentations on sales performance, commission models, and regional trends.
  • Manages closeout inventory operations, ensuring effective planning, forecasting, and execution while collaborating across departments.
  • Monitors inventory levels, including obsolete stock, turnover rates, and aging across categories, and conducts ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed.
  • Conducts analysis, modeling, and reporting to support sales teams, including preparing daily Available to Ship (ATS) reports and tracking obsolete or near-obsolete inventory.
  • Analyzes existing sales operations processes, recommend and implements improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in business management information systems, computer science, finance, economics or related field
  • Four (4) years' experience in sales commission analysis, sales operations support, business analysis, or brand management, preferably within the retail or wholesale industry.
  • Any footwear, retail industry sales operations, inventory management expertise, or similar field preferred.


Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite with advance Excel skills (xlookups, pivot tables, charts, data simulation, etc.). Experience with SAP and Power BI preferred.
  • Prior experience with supporting variable compensation in a commission-based sales organization. Footwear Industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to learn a varied set of tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Travel Required: No travel will be required.


Base Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 yearly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
