The target salary range for this position is $42,000.00 to $62,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Remote work environment flexibility but candidate must reside in California.

What You'll Do
- Expectation of processing a minimum of 130 bills per day.
- Enters paper claims data from Landing Zone. Reviews charges and enters BR Explanation Codes.
- Audit E-bills and review Capstone rules that fired and makes adjustments as indicated.
- Identify and address issues while processing the bills (no claim number or incorrect claim number, provider not in the system, invalid procedure code, duplicate bills, uphold any prospective nurse case management certification letters, etc.)
- Further review is based on established policies and procedures. Ensure all are accurately applied.
- Consult with Senior Reviewer, QA team or Supervisor as needed.
- Complete Bill Track daily and correct/release any pends.
- Maintain an error rate of less than 3% on QA reviews.
- Complete all continuing education requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Minimum of one (1) year of Workers’ Compensation Medical Bill Review experience required.
- California Workers’ Compensation Medical Bill Reviewer designation preferred ((if not licensed, must secure within one (1) year from date of hire.)
- Must be detailed oriented and organized.
- Ten-key by touch required.
