General Description:
The position will develop the Midwest region and has the responsibility for developing the Dependable brand in the central part of the country. The territory specifically includes: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Western Pennsylvania. https://www.floorprep.com/
Essential Job Functions:
- Selling all Dependable products.
- Creating a business plan to achieve mutually agreeable goals.
- Managing customers in the territory, and working with our Regional Manager in this territory as needed
- Manage independent representatives, including: hiring, firing, training and replacing in your territory
- Introducing new products as developed by the company to customers
- All other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in email
- Organized
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Familiarity with the flooring/self-leveling business
- Ability to perform physical demonstrations of Dependable products
- 5 years experience selling floor preparation products
- Preferred
- Technical background in cement/gypsum based products
- Familiarity with the gypsum underlayment business
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
