The Keene Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The clinic is a stand-aline facility without affiliation to other health care corporations. No weekends, No Holidays, No on-call.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform necessary procedures and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Document patient encounters accurately using paper charts.
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient care.
- Stay updated on best practices in family medicine, including emergency medicine techniques as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body.
- Active state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
