What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Monitoring/Surveillance Associate position at Keeneland Association Inc?
Protects Keeneland interests through use of video surveillance technology including, but not limited to, detecting fraudulent activity, policy violations, and threats to Keeneland patrons, back stretch workers, Horses, employees and assets.
*This is a full time, and 40 hour work week position. Shift times/hours are to be determined as they shall fit organization needs. Shift times/hours are subject to change during Spring & Fall Race Meetings, which are held in April & October.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Monitor pre-determined locations utilizing video surveillance system
- Identify violation(s) of Keeneland Association Policies and Procedures
- Protect Keeneland Property and Assets, and detect alleged criminal violations
- Maintain compliance in support of the Horse Racing Integrity Act
- Notify Security Officers and Security Management as necessary
- Refer questionable patterns of behavior to appropriate parties for extensive review
CORE ABILITIES
- Apply sound surveillance techniques, logical reasoning and judgement while conducting focused observation
- Promptly recognize behavior that may precede disruptive activity, alleged criminal violations, or Keeneland policy violations
- Maintain confidentiality of all observed and reported activities
- Navigate and maintain proficiency in video monitoring software
- Applicant should possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Accurately document all actionable activity
- Operate in a multitasking environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 24 months of video surveillance monitoring experience Required
- Knowledge of Thoroughbred industry strongly preferred, but not required
- Successfully pass oral interview
- Successfully pass background investigation
- Applicant must be free of felony convictions, or serious misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, domestic or workplace violence
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, TRAININGS
- Valid Kentucky Horse Racing Commission License
