Quality Technician – 2nd Shift

For more than 100 years, the Oatey family of brands has included some of the most recognized names in residential and commercial plumbing products, including Keeney. We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician for a 2nd shift position at our Keeney manufacturing center in Winchester, NH. In this position you will ensure the quality of all processes, procedures, materials, rework and finished products.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct daily quality inspections to audit procedure compliance

· Complete ongoing reliability testing and validate product quality conformance to specifications

· Provide disposition and segregation of rejected materials or products

· Maintain calibration/verification records for and supply manufacturing with lab testing instrumentation and hand-held devices

· Follow all safety guidelines and promote safety in the work areas

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, engineering or scientific field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

· Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software

· Basic understanding of quality concepts, including variation, process control and root cause analysis

· Knowledge of equipment used in a laboratory (fill machines, pallet jack, box knife, batch gun, mix tanks, drum mover, viscometer, gas chromatograph, etc.)
