KeenLogic is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on Capitol Hill at the U.S House of Representatives.
The Quality Assurance (QA) Team, led by the Director of Quality Assurance, reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is a component of the Office of Finance’s Immediate Office. The QA Team performs reviews of financial transactions and activities on an ongoing basis to assess quality and consistency in the disposition of transactions, the collection and analysis of financial information, and other financial service processes for activities conducted by the Accounting, Budget Planning & Analysis, Office of Financial Counseling and Payroll & Benefits directorates and the Immediate Office. The QA Team provides information and insight to Finance leadership on mitigating risk and promoting consistency across the directorates in adherence to House standards, policies, and procedures. It identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and controls in support of effective operation and management of Finance activities.
This is a full-time on-site position offering Fortune 500-level health benefits, PTO, 401k, Life Insurance, and monthly reimbursement for travel. The position starts as a year contract with the possibility to extend based on performance. The anticipated start date for this role is February 3rd.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience in financial or business analysis and reporting
- 5 years of relevant PC experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams)
- 3 years of experience identifying issues and anomalies and developing recommendations for possible corrective actions and process improvements
- 3 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Experience calculating, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting meaningful KPI and/or metrics
- Working knowledge and experience extracting data from office systems and software programs, including financial systems/software such as PeopleSoft, BMC Helix, and FinMart, and turning it into actionable insights
- Advanced knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills involving large sets of data and spreadsheets containing formulas
- Ability to identify issues and, when indicated, their root causes and verify and validate corrective actions
- Ability to document processes and workflows in Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner orally and in writing in both co-located and virtual work settings
- Highly developed organizational skills that include scheduling tasks and balancing multiple priorities
- Keen attention to detail and thoroughness when performing work
- Planning and performing process and work product quality assurance audits/reviews to objectively evaluate compliance with House Rules and Office of Finance policies and procedures and to support the synthesis of findings into periodic reports to leadership.
- Using transaction data extracted from financial systems and other sources, support the preparation of performance and quality metric reports.
- Identifying issues and anomalies and when indicated, their root cause, through audits/reviews and/or monitoring of metrics and working with process and service owners in developing and verifying implementation of corrective actions.
- Other duties as assigned in support of the Office of Finance Quality Assurance/other Finance directorate operational functions and objectives.
