Veterinary Technician Wanted
Full-time Technician wanted for busy 2-doctor small-animal practice in Southwest NH. Should be certified and/or experienced in the usual duties performed by technicians; including client communications, blood draws, sample collection, restraint, patient record keeping, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis and surgical prep. You will be expected to answer phones and help out with reception as needed. Full time position is four 10-hour days with one weekday off; requires some half-Saturdays. You must be a team player. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being during examinations and treatments.
- Assist veterinarians with diagnostic procedures, including administering medications and performing laboratory tests.
- Handle and restrain animals safely for examinations and procedures, utilizing knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans, fostering a collaborative relationship for optimal animal health.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
