Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Cleaner and Operations manager to oversee our cleaning operations and help ensure we provide the highest quality of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional house cleaning and management, with proven skills in effectively leading a team. This role is essential in being the main communication between us and our clients, and ensuring they receive the highest quality service and care during their visits.
Daily duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the cleaning team to ensure an efficient and smooth workflow
- Ensure all aspects of job are completed on time.
- Manage cleaning schedule to ensure crew is never late for arrival window.
- Conduct post-clean inspections of properties to verify all items are complete and job is finished to the highest quality to avoid any re-visits.
- Manage inventory of crew's cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Address any issues, concerns, or changes raised by team members and/or clients promptly and professionally, and relay them to our team and/or the client as needed.
- Train new cleaners on company policies and techniques, cleaning products, and safety protocols.
- Generate and drive positive reviews to help with referrals and new business.
- Ensure post-visit forms and checklists are 100% completed and sent to the customer before leaving.
- Be of service to the customer, be friendly, caring, passionate, and have fun!
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in professional housekeeping / residential house cleaning.
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a supervising / management position.
- Have a growth mindset!
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Experience in hotel, custodial, or commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Great knowledge of cleaning practices, methods, and safety protocols.
- Ability to adapt in various situations and solve any arising problems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Honest, ethical, and accountable attitude is a must
- Punctual, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a constant moving, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner.
