Keep MI Smile is expanding into new areas! We are looking for a dentist with a positive personality and a desire to do solid dentistry to join our team at our newest office, just outside Kalamazoo! We have a great supporting staff to help you deliver care and enjoy dentistry, and mentoring is available for those looking to expand their skills. Ideal candidate would be available 3-5 days a week, confident in diagnosing and performing basic dentistry, though experience with endo, ortho or OS a plus! Yearly salary with bonus, retirement, flexiblity in your schedule and autonomy of care. Four chair office, new handpieces, and opportunity to choose equipment you want to make dentistry enjoyable! Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
- Provide a range of dental treatments, including but not limited to endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in delivering high-quality patient care through four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental practices and technologies.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry in the state.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 26 – 40 per week
