What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at KEEPRITE REFRIGERATION, INC.?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains preventive maintenance program for machinery.
- Installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, air, hydraulic and other related equipment and systems, as assigned.
- Makes suggestions on material, equipment, and supplies needed and produces purchase requisitions for approval.
- Coordinates maintenance work performed by outside vendors.
- Inspects, repairs, maintains and renovates existing facilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to install, inspect, repair and maintain the electrical, plumbing, air and hydraulic and other related equipment and systems.
- Ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to use computer to search information and to produce documents.
- Thorough knowledge of occupation hazards and general safety rules.
- Post-secondary education is desirable.
