Keesen Landscape Management, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and efficiency-focused professional to join our growing Denver, Colorado business as Production Controller.

The Opportunity

The Keesen Production Controller is our onsite professional dedicated to leading the team by overseeing all tasks required to maintain our production system (Aspire) in accordance with the policies communicated by management. The Production Controller focuses on managing the Aspire program, fielding questions from production staff, leading training and reporting for the team, and managing monthly closing tasks in the program. The Production Controller manages administrative staff in the A/P, A/R, and payroll functions at Keesen’s 4 locations.

The Production Controller focuses on two main areas:


Management of Aspire:

  • Oversees and manages Contract Administration from the local branches in Aspire, along with providing higher-level reporting reflecting contract renewal metrics.
  • Provide support to production staff regarding ticket management, inventory, and purchase receipts while ensuring local procedures are in alignment with corporate guidance.
  • Perform end-of-month close in Aspire, including completion of closing checklists. Advise accounting when Aspire data is final.
  • Run production reports in Aspire for local management team as needed.
  • Create and update reports to track company expenditures in real time.


Management of Administrative Staff

  • Provide a positive work environment to prepare employees to be successful in their jobs, utilizing teamwork philosophies that are in alignment with Heartland’s guiding principles.
  • Correspond with customers and vendors as needed.
  • Oversee payables approval processes and ensure invoices are sent to central AP for processing.
  • Provide support and guidance around payroll processing. Coordinate with accounting to ensure all procedures are in alignment with corporate guidance.
  • Manage the development of local staff, providing opportunities for training and growth as available.

  • At least three years progressive experience in a leadership role.
  • Preferably have experience with Aspire or similar industry software.
  • Be an engaging and effective communicator with all levels of the organization.

  • Have an attitude of always looking to improve upon what we are doing and how; and along the way, celebrating and recognizing the improvements.
  • Strict attention to detail, with exceptional time management, organizational and follow-up skills, to assure all responsibilities are quickly and efficiently met in a faced paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, listening and customer service skills with the ability to make critical judgments and maintain calm demeanor even when confronted with difficult situations.
  • Results-oriented with proven ability to follow through while handling multiple and competing priorities.
  • Be fanatical about details and accuracy and keep excellent records.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
