Position : Network Engineer
Department : Information Technology
Reports To : Network Engineering Team Lead
F LSA : Exempt Grade : IT 810
SUMMARY
Provides initial design, implementation, optimization, administration, and technical documentation for all enterprise network infrastructure with minimal supervision. Engineers' solutions for vastly complex problems that generally require in-depth analysis and creative thinking where innovation and a wide range of autonomy for decision making is required. Identifies errors that are often difficult to detect and performs root cause analysis in finding resolution to problems that typically lack precedent. Develops and implements processes, procedures, and automations to support the organization's business requirements; meet compliance and security requirements; and meet the needs of end users. Facilitates projects and technology changes that impact multiple business units to deliver and optimize mission-critical IT services. Researches, recommends, develops, and integrates new technologies to meet the goals and support the strategic initiatives of the organization.
