Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide support for residents with memory care needs, ensuring their dignity and resident rights are upheld.
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring safe transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Document resident progress and any changes in behavior or health status accurately.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other caregivers to develop individualized care plans.
- Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and community involvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of memory care practices and dementia care techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with resident rights and advocacy principles.
- Certification in First Aid is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting residents as necessary.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
