Job Summary:
Keffer Mazda is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual for the position of Automotive Parts Counter Person. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry located in Huntersville, North Carolina. The successful candidate will work as an individual contributor, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their automotive parts needs. The main responsibility of this role is to manage the parts inventory and fulfill customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with an hourly pay range of $12 to $18, depending on experience. Our company offers biweekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as vacation and sick leave.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers with their automotive parts needs in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage parts inventory and ensure items are properly stocked and organized
• Utilize computer systems to look up and order parts for customers
• Create and process invoices for customer orders
• Handle phone inquiries and take orders for parts from customers
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and parts sales
• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of automotive parts and components
• Strong computer skills and ability to use computerized systems to look up and order parts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to lift and move heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
