What you will do:
Identify big data sets' trends, patterns, and anomalies by performing extensive data analysis to
develop insights. Perform data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, implement data
models, conduct analysis and develop databases. Interpret results from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools. Collaborate with teams to understand each data analysis project's underlying purpose, focus, and objectives. Design, develop, and implement the most valuable data-driven solutions for the organization.
Role & Responsibilities:
Pricing Analytics and Strategy:
- Analyze historical pricing data, market trends, and customer behavior to optimize pricing strategies.
- Develop and implement predictive pricing models using advanced machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Monitor and adapt pricing strategies based on market dynamics and competitor insights.
Competitor Analysis and Web Scraping:
- Design and implement web scraping solutions to gather competitor pricing and product data.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in data collection practices.
- Analyze scraped data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the market.
Product Insights and Optimization:
- Evaluate product performance by analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market conditions.
- Identify gaps in product offerings and recommend adjustments or new product development.
- Collaborate with product teams to align pricing strategies with product value and market positioning.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with product, sales, finance, and marketing teams to align on business goals and strategies.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights, pricing trends, and competitor data to stakeholders.
- Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B testing) to validate pricing and product hypotheses.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in data science, pricing analytics, or product analytics roles.
- Demonstrated experience in scraping, analyzing, and utilizing competitor data for business insights.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying pricing and product optimization models.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with web scraping frameworks such as Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, regression models, and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of pricing strategies, elasticity, and revenue management.
- Familiarity with competitive pricing models and product analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
