Machine Maintenance Associate- 2nd Shift

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of Hitachi Astemo's machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs in order to minimize downtime and optimize production effienciency and quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines
• Replace or repair defective parts such as; belts, bearings, motors, or sensors
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems or abnormalities in the machines
• Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolves complex technical problems
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions
