Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to support manufacturing. Under the direction and guidance of the production coordinator this position will lead and direct line employees daily assignments, operate production equipment to meet manufacturing targets for safety, quality, delivery and cost. Develop production associates and properly identify root cause of non-conforming product and downtime to implement actions for recurrence prevention.
Description Of Duties And Responsibilities

Assist Coordinator in planning rotations and training to the Work Instructions with production associates to ensure quality products to the customer, smooth production, low scrap and rejects.

Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment

Understand inventories, generate production reports, attendance

Verify production documents are properly completed and maintained, and appropriate action is taken to contain and control out of compliance conditions

Keep line running with immediate actions (calling for Machine TA support, notification to QC with part issues, and request to coordinator when needed)

Train, Develop, and Mentor Associates, enforce PPE

Assist in Root Cause Analysis and Countermeasure Development & Implementation

Liaison Between Production, Quality and Engineering
