What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant and Toddler Childcare Caregivers position at Keiki O Ka 'Aina FLC?
Keiki O Ka ʻĀina’s mission is to educate children, strengthen families, enrich communities, and perpetuate culture through Hawaiian values and practices. We operate two Infant and Toddler Centers in Kailua and Māʻili, and two preschools in Pālolo and Kāneʻohe. We are currently hiring Aides for all locations.

Ideal Candidates:
- Have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 3 years.
- Are happy, energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment.
- Are passionate about Hawaiian culture, language, and engaging families.
- Enjoy singing, dancing, playing, reading, and nurturing young children.
- Love learning about early childhood development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement hands-on, culturally-based curriculum to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth for infants and/or toddlers.
- Use creative techniques like storytelling and educational play to support children’s social skills and self-esteem.
- Organize lesson plans, monitor child progress, and communicate with caregivers.
- Provide a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Passion for early childhood education.
- Friendly, flexible, team player with a growth mindset and can-do attitude.
