What are the responsibilities and job description for the Records Coordinator position at Keiser University 2?
Keiser University's Residential campus is looking for a Records Coordinator for the Admissions Office. This position serves as the first point of contact in the Admissions office, maintaining the central email account, phone system and in-office traffic, providing a high level of customer service to all prospective students. Provides support through auditing, maintaining and updating admission records in multiple institutional systems including Anthology & Reach. Processes admissions decisions efficiently in order to support the growing enrollment of students in our programs.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for covering the reception desk and greeting/directing all visitors.
- Audits applications against minimum university policies and programmatic standards and requirements.
- Following complex and varying workflows, processes departmental admission decisions for programs. Edits & issues letters to applicants.
- Possesses the flexibility and knowledge to operate in several databases at one time; this includes, but is not limited to Campus Nexus, Education Partners & Engage.
- Responds to all inquiries and application questions that come through the central Admission email and phone line.
- Manages incoming mail, processing all documents within 1 business day.
- Provides data entry support to the admission and recruitment office.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested to support the admission office.
- Ability to adjust as necessary to job duties.
Must also have the following:
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in customer service environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of Associate degree. Bachelor Degree preferred
This is a full time position that requires day and evening availability.
