About the Role
As a NEPA Coordinator, you will play a critical role in analyzing, preparing, and managing environmental impact documents under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Working closely with our public agency client, you’ll oversee compliance processes, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and prepare Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Impact Reports (EIR) under NEPA and CEQA.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with current guidance, best practices, and applicable statutes and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, public agencies, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Conduct data analysis and review, offering editorial expertise to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Manage and coordinate multiple tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
Required Expertise
- 15–20 years of experience in environmental planning, with a strong focus on CEQA/NEPA compliance.
- Extensive experience preparing and managing EIR (CEQA) and EIS (NEPA) documents.
- Degree in Environmental Planning or a related field.
- Exceptional technical writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
